Enjoying the last of the blooms
Due to family priorities, our garden has been very unproductive in October. We’ve managed to keep our garden waste bin full and also cut the lawn, which has become extremely long. However, we’ve recently noticed that our honesty has taken root and will undoubtedly need tending.
There have still been a few bright days, but now that the clocks have been adjusted back by one hour, the nights are drawing in more and more. But hey, it means we will be welcoming more of our hearty winter meals.

What we’ve been up to in October
In the garden and on the website
I’ve cleared quite a few of our patio pots, as many of the summer plants have died. However, unbelievably, some are still producing flowers, especially a few fuchsias and some marigold-like plants.
However, once again, our nasturtiums are still flowering, and they’re amazing, although we know that once the first frost has arrived, they will die off. But we’re making the most of them while they’re here.
